I first watched the movie in bootleg form, and liked the story line. I just recently bought the movie on blu-ray and agree with you that it has a suprising amount of detail for an animated film, and anything but 1080p doesn't do it justice. Most of the people that said It's lame also said it was suppose to be a kids movie and the beeps and clicks didn't keep kids attention. I found it to be the opposite, I watched it with my nephews and they where locked to the TV the whole time. I personally liked the movie.
